Public institutions play a crucial role in setting the standard for ethical behavior, transparency, and accountability. Across Africa, the effectiveness of these institutions directly impacts citizens’ trust in governance, influences societal values, and determines the overall health of the democratic process. As central pillars in society, public institutions have the responsibility to model what a “good society” looks like.
